[Rec]

I do not know about you, but Spanish cinema I like these time-çi, and the avalanche of securities in which we croulons past few months me happy! After The Orphanage of Juan Antonio Bayona (in the shadow of Guillermo del Toro), here are two young filmmakers, Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero will also bring them to play with our nerves in their film [Rec].
Combining horror and anguish, this feature film shot entirely in HD camera in hand we embark on the steps of a team of journalist, who spends the night in a fire station for a television magazine reports. When the team is called in an old building downtown about an old soul who yells, journalists following, eager to make good pictures. Only then, the intervention turned into a tragedy: the old lady seems possessed and flows on relief…
So they try to flee after a policeman and a fireman were injured, neighbors and journalists realize that they are quarantined, confined by the authorities in the building. With the face of them, more and more people in very strange behaviour…
Quite frankly inspired by the style of Blair Witch Project, Rec knows raise mayonnaise and create at lower costs, an ultra-flippante atmosphere through simple means: dark scenes, which falls on camera, images fugitive imagination of the viewer for some scenes. Oh, this is bizarre, it also recalls the concept of a big stew of a blockbuster the Godzilla released earlier this year!
Yet, and this is perhaps because I am a tapette, ECR is effective in its style: it is well to the bottom of the chair, shaking hands on the armrests, expected next squirts blood with cramps in ‘Stomach and a little sweat on the forehead. A real massacre! If you miss, do not worry, Hollywood is entrain to rehabilitate. It called Quarantined and it released all at the end of the year.
